It’s not every day Tailored Image gets the call to respond, but that’s exactly the service offered to Dublin Fire Brigade when the company stepped up after winning the tender to supply its firefighter station wear.
The new contract provided the opportunity for Tailored Image to consult with the operational staff and management in Dublin Fire to establish their needs and requirements for station wear. This enabled the uniform supplier to ensure that the new garments provided exactly the desired levels of comfort and performance.
The team at Tailored Image utilised its extensive experience of providing uniforms to blue light and uniformed services and delivered the appropriate sizing package for both male and female wearers.
Reaction to the new uniform has been extremely positive and it has been rolled out to over 900 operational staff through Tailored Image’s efficient managed service, which delivers a carefully assembled uniform pack for each wearer.
New designs for items such as the polo tops and pullovers have proven to be popular. They support the concept that firefighter station wear that is carefully designed can be comfortable, whilst maintaining the integrity of the brand or service.
Members of staff from Dublin Fire Brigade measured up to their reputation for being fearless, volunteering to go in front of the lens as models, when the Tailored Image team dropped in to their station for a photo shoot of the new uniform!
