Tailored Image rose to the challenge when selected as the supplier of Ireland’s most prominent uniform. This postal uniform is worn by the staff of An Post who deliver a daily service to every home and business across the entire country.
The brief was to design and supply a new uniform for the An Post counter staff that had a smart corporate look and incorporated An Post’s strong brand elements.
Tailored Image now services An Post’s complete uniform requirements across a team of almost 7,000 staff.
The practicalities of working in a variety of counter locations required a layered solution for both male and female wearers. Shirts and blouses are therefore combined with knitwear and jackets to provide comfort while maintaining the all-day professional appearance for the team.
A separate contract covers the postal uniform requirements for the delivery staff out on the street, in the sorting office and in delivery vans. Tailored Image won the contract to supply these comprehensive uniforms, including safety footwear, providing the postal workers with practical workwear whilst maintaining An Post’s distinctive corporate identity.

The photoshoot featuring local postal staff took place in Dublin’s historic GPO building which remains the headquarters of An Post.
